Crescent Taco Pie

Welcome again to “Yummy Mommies” the home of meal receipts & list of dishes, Today i will guide you how to make “Crescent Taco Pie”. I made this Delicious recipe a few days ago, and I absolutely loved it and enjoyed it with my family. It came out very tasty and flavorful.
Before post it here i send via Our Pinterest Account the full recipe to some of our great followers to try it and this was their opinions :

  • "starla" : This is becoming a staple in our household.  Everyone loves it.   Thanks for the suggestions, especially about the beans.  We just might try that.
  • "diana" : I'm going to make this using leftover pork roast, refried beans and green chiles.  Made something similar but instead of crescents I used flour tortillas.  Put it on the bottom of the plate, then layered bean/meat mixture, cheese and another layer of tortilla/meat/cheese.  This sounds good too and I have the dough already.
  • "jen" : Easy, yummy; will make again and try a healthier version using reduced fat crescents and cheese, and Reltetsoh's suggestion to replace half the meat with beans and possibly add corn.
  • "nelly" : Pillsbury probably won't like this but I made this recipe using a corn bread crust and it was delicious. Next time, I'm going to add pinto or kidney beans.
  • "bethy" : I replaced the salsa with a can of petite diced tomatoes. Added the liquid needed for cooking the taco seasoning into the meat and was really good! Wish I had read the recipe twists before I baked. I would have tried the tortilla on the top then put the cheese on top of the tortilla.
  • "wigi" : Easy to make.   I just have to get better with the Crescent roll crust.  I was surprised the crust cooked all the way through.  It is an easy meal for weekday suppers.
